According to IMMPAC's public relations office, Saber Baltauff told the association's launch ceremony that its formation reflected an optimistic view of the future and an effort to address mining sector challenges.
The board member said hope for the future, and confidence in the capabilities that a coordinated mining structure could unlock, encouraged more determined work to establish the association.
He said the organization could meet a real need in the mining and machinery supply chain.
It was expected to address some existing challenges, make work easier for manufacturers and suppliers, and improve connections between businesses and customers, he added.
Discussing mining's role in economic development, he said the end user of these capabilities would be the mining sector, which is expected to play an important role in the country's development.
Baltauff expressed hope that the association would draw on its members' capabilities to remove obstacles, facilitate connections and strengthen the mining industry's supply chain.
